Who it's for

Brighty is for EU-resident freelancers, small business owners, and remote workers who invoice in euros and want their crypto card and their daily banking to be the same product. The standout feature is a personal EU IBAN in your name, useful for invoicing clients, receiving salary, and routing SEPA payments. If you currently maintain a separate Revolut/Wise account for euro banking and a separate crypto card, Brighty consolidates both into one app.

How it works

Brighty is fully custodial, funds sit in Brighty-managed accounts, similar to a neobank. The product offers three things in a single workflow: a euro IBAN (for fiat in/out), a stablecoin balance that earns yield while idle, and a Mastercard for daily spend.

You top up either by SEPA from another bank, by crypto deposit, or by card transfer. The card draws from whichever balance you set as default. Conversion between euros and stablecoins happens in-app at competitive rates. Yield on idle stablecoin balance is paid daily.

In daily use

The euro IBAN is the killer feature for freelancers. You can put it on invoices, give it to clients, and have payments arrive in your Brighty account exactly the way they would in any EU bank. The stablecoin balance then absorbs the deposit and starts earning yield until you need to spend it.

The app is well-built, clean UI, fast onboarding, full KYC takes 15 minutes. Customer support is responsive in EU business hours. The 1% cashback applies to all spend without staking requirements, which is rare in this set.

Things to know before signing up

EU only. The card and IBAN are issued under EU licensing; UK and non-EU residents cannot open accounts as of mid-2026. Custodial, full stop. Brighty holds your funds. If solvency or regulatory issues hit the company, your access depends on EU deposit protection rules and the specific licence structure, read the terms. Post-rebrand. Brighty is the renamed Holyheld product; the operational track record carries over but the brand identity is newer. Yield rate is variable. The headline rate on idle stablecoin moves with rates and the underlying yield source; check the current rate before assuming a number.

Verdict

Brighty is the cleanest pick in this lineup for a specific user: an EU freelancer or small business owner who wants one account for euros, stablecoins, yield, and card spend. If that's you, Brighty replaces 2–3 separate products with one. If you're a non-EU resident or you specifically value self-custody, look elsewhere.
