About Marco

Marco Bianchi is the founder and lead reviewer of comparecryptopay. Italian-born and based between Italy, Portugal and Southeast Asia since 2020, he has personally opened, topped up, and spent on every crypto card listed on this site.

He started covering crypto cards in 2023 after spending two years trying to find a single card that worked across the four countries he was billing clients from. Frustrated by the gap between marketing pages and real fees, he started a spreadsheet. The spreadsheet became this site.

Marco writes every long-form RedotPay piece and most of the nomad-focused coverage. He does not accept paid placements, sponsored reviews, or any commercial relationship with the card issuers covered on the site.
